CoB is what you can await from finnish daeth metal, light speed riffs, screaming, and amazing music.

uh, yup they are cool, one of my favorite bands. if you like Children of Bodom, i know of a lot of other bands on the melodic/power-death metal scene that you would probably like.

CoB is a really good band. One of the few "Death metal" bands I really like. Though it's sometimes still a strain to hear the lyrics, the music is absoultely great, and they really carry that "metal band" feel, they look and act like a metal band too, it's nice. *bang*

one of the things that makes CoB great to me is all the memories tied to the music. i got all their albums over a large area of time. Follow the Reaper reminds me a lot of the last school year, times spent hanging around being l337 haxz0rs in the tech lab. Hatebreeder brings me Halo flashbacks from the following summer. Hate Crew Deathroll reminds me of the last LAN party i had with my friends (thats when i got it), and Something Wild reminds me of the first version of Fear of God, though i'm not sure why.

actually im seeking for sorrow metal today, i only know a few, opeth is kinda like to it. but i really like to hear some more sorrow metal.

Mmm they are good, haven't listened to them for a while though but still really good band. It may interest you to know that I read they are in the studio in April to May recording a new album out later this year hopefully. Don't have a name for it yet though. *bang*

While I liked them a long time ago (back when they released their first album) there wasn´t much in their other releases that hooked me since they sounded quite alike... I would enjoy an album of them if played but they aren´t among my favourite bands.
Their musicianship is another thing to be discussed :P.

o i forgot, Sinergy is another band CoB fans might like. their power metal, not death metal, but your might not notice or care with a female vocalist. imo, Alexi's best guitar-work is with Sinergy, not CoB.

Speaking of CoB, what are some good albums that I must get? I only have Hatebreeder at the moment.

They only have 4 studio albums. That leaves their first one, Something Wild then there's Hatebreeder which you have. Onto Follow The Reaper adn then Hatecrew Deathroll.(my fave:D) They've got a couple of live albums and some EP's as well. There is a new album in the works but it won't be around for a bit yet IIRC.
