The following is a link to the first level in my forthcoming megawad, Hell On Mars, and I need feedback on it, please.

Heh, I don't think you want feedback.

It started out with some ok gameplay and the small areas seemed like a good idea. Then I discovered it was four rooms. It needs to be way bigger and look more interesting if you want to release it in a megawad. As it stands now it offers no challenge even for an entry level.
Having plausible lighting effects would be nice too. Dark doors and dark spots in the middle of a room just look odd.
You really could get something going with the cramped corridors though. Might end up feeling a bit like DooM III. :D

Sorry but,... Are you jokeing? You might want to build off this level, and possibly add some more detail. Also, try playing around with the lights a little more...

Instead of making a megawad full of levels that no one will be interested in playing, I would suggest you spend more time on just one level. Haven't you played the stock Doom or Doom II levels? If anything, that should give you an idea of the bare minimum of what people expect. But then, this is 2005, not 1993, so people's expectations for custom wads are much higher.

Just play around building things that look cool until you have something that starts to be really sweet. I liked the cramped areas already. :)

The cramped halls and such are nice touch, like in Doom 3, wich was mentiond. Some of my levels are based off that, but you need more content. Like 10X what you have...

Having the pools of nukage could be cool too. In a cramped space nukage makes for a nasty obstacle.

Yeah I did. There wasn't exactly a clue as to its location though. The pulsating effect was neat with the blood.

Cool. I couldn't really have put a clue in tho, cause the whole wall, it would have looked really odd...
