Dont u guys think it would be kool if someone recreated doom3 for doom. With one of the more 3d type engines like vavoom or something.

Actually there is a current project going on that is doing this. There is a big thread about it over in the Doomworld forums. I believe they are making it using the EDGE engine. You may want to check it out.
