Help in Alien Vendetta

How do you beat the last level in Alien Vendetta? Serious, I can never get to the first lift in time when I hit the switch because it is way to far. Any solution? Thanks!

What do you mean by "the first lift" ? If you refer to the lift at sector 104, yes, that does appear to be a design flaw. Yes, if triggering the switch at linedef 853 you cannot react the lift in time.

So to defeat the boss you need to stay up on the highest ledge where you teleport into, "the battle area" with the "boss". Keep switching the switch in the middle which lowers the platform with the two torches which blocked your rockets. Keep on switching , keep on firing rockets ....

You can reach the lifts, but you need to straferun well and accurately. See this demo, for instance: http://competn.doom2.net/pub/compet-n/pwads/av/speed/av30-059.zip. Note that normal strafe-40 is sufficient, but if you use strafe-50, this gives you a bit more margin for error.
