Hello people, I thougth I should at last show, a small mod thing I work on for Doomsday, JHexem, JHeretic and JDoom.
I called it CRAWL (episode 1 to 3), like my JK2 clan is called. But the mod have not much to do whit Jedis and Starwars.
My mod have quite a simple goal: Make the three games a new style (like ressurce pack) that work on every normal boring PWAD.. and also if possible rise the challenge level a bit.
I know there are Highres textures, and there are 3d models already, that look much better. (JDRP 1.1 etc) But on my Computer made in past the 3d models a lot FPS lag, so I started prefering to keep the spirit grpahics.... I played a bit around whit the DED files and noticed that Its quite easy to make cute mods....
So I made one in 2001, one in 2002, one in 2003, one in 2004 and finally now one in 2005....
The mods from the last years had just not the quality as it is needed.... not so this year try. I think its quite good.
I replaced in the Mod pack all weapons, monsters, sounds and music. So a new athmorsphere come up.
My status is actually:
CRAWL Heretic: 99,9% Done
CRAWL Hexen: 99,5% Done
CRAWL Doom(2): 99,1% Done
To become a image about my mod work I want to show a Screenshot that compares Doom2 whit CRAWL Doom....
I want to note that I used for CRAWL Doom a few things from old JPRP 1.01 and from JDED pack.
(Particle definitions and the skyboxes) I know that I need to ask Dani J If i can use them when I Upload the mods... but for now is the Mod a (just for my PC) Project so, I hope i get not already to much trouble.....

About the screenshot:
Left side shows Orginal Doom2 Map 1 on two probaly good known places
Rigth side, shows the same two areas, by using the CRAWL mod...
I will probaly show more screenshots in a few days, and try to finish the three mods... maybe uploading it somewhere if people can tell me where I can upload and if there is intress for it...
