Big latency with deng-1.8.6 and Fedore Core 3

Hello,

I installed Fedora Core 3, and deng-1.8.6, working perfectly with FC2, has now a really big latency in movement, both with mouse control and keyboard control. Also game menu appears with big delay after presing ESC key. I tried to recompile it in FC3 environment, but the result was the same.

Any ideas how to solve it?

try do a Fedora Core 3 update on red hat network Aler icon that may fix it

Tried, with apt-get, no success, yet...

But I noticed the same problem in Unreal Tournament (old one), so it is not a deng mistake, probably...
