I play zdoom from time to time, depending on the pwad heh. aswell as zdoomgl.75-80 as of right now. I used to play zdoom 1.22 alot though on doomserv years ago.
i play all the ports though, why be limited to one or the other you know. *giddy*

If a map requires a specific port then I use it. Like Mr_Rocket said, I also use all the ports. Depending on whatever one I feel like using I'll use either Legacy, JDoom, ZDoom and ZDoomGL They all work great on my current machine and I've been running maps through ZDoom as of late.

I just started using zDoom. With my current system, AFAIK, it's the only one that can utilize more than "software" rendering, and DAMN is it pretty. Works well online too.

I could be wrong, but it could be that zDoom currently has a problem with its MIDI support. Does anyone know anything about this? ???

Nothing wrong with the MIDI support from looking at it.
What sort of problem might you be referring to?

ZDoom uses the system's MIDI settings. Probably they are wrong.

You mean the settings on my computer? Can I change that to set it aright?

Yes, ZDOOM has a problem with some settings. Maybe something with EAX. Anyway, it sounds horrible with my current NVIDIA mb with EAX settings. Haven't had time to try it disabled.
