Okay so I'm bragging. We put in an application for a puppy at an animal rescue and we got accepted today!!! I am so excited, we get to bring him home on Saturday. His name is Beethoven (already named) and he is 8 weeks old. He is a Husky/Shepherd mix. SOOOOOOO CUTE! I can't wait to get him home!

Thanks! I can't wait to get my hands on his little furry self! The 40 minute car ride to the rescue is going to kill me!

I can't even look at the pictures anymore. I am dying to get my hands on him! LOL. I hope Chase reacts okay to a new one in the house! If anything he'll be happy to have a little one to bully around, lol.

If anyone is looking to adopt a puppy, he has 6 siblings that are up for adoption through this rescuse too and the adoption fee is only $35! They are close to Dayton/Springfield, Ohio and we are traveling there to get our guy, can't wait!

So far we have been calling him Beethoven, when we talk about him. We don't have him yet and if his personality makes another name pop out at us, we will change it. We want to change it, but we cant come up with anything that fits him. He LOOKS like a Beethoven, lol.

LOL.

He is in PERFECT health. He has had shots, been de-wormed, has had a full checkup, he is 150% healthy!

Someone mentioned naming him Rusty, and he kind of looks like a Rusty, but I think we are going to wait and see what his personality is like before any final descions are made.

From those pictures I can tell it's a damn lazy pup.
Have fun with it, especially when it grows big and strong and you can scare people away with it ^^
I still like kittens more though :D

Ha, I wish he were lazy. He was just worn out when taking those pictures. He's a hard one to photograph when he's up and playing. I added some pictures today of him playing with a few toys. (and doing other various things...I really need to stop getting picture happy, lol)

Aaaawwww! Looks so darn cute he does. Reminds me of Aero when he was a pup, only he wasn't a rescue dog.:D So how many pet do you have now Goldy?

Oh and BTW folks, haven't been on much due to Flu. Really nasty but I'm good now.

He does look lovely. He has a nice coat, all big and fluffy. Dogs are really nice, we've always had a dog in our family so it's strange when I'm away from home and I don't have Bob or Aero coming to the door to greet me. It was nice to see them on Friday when I was miserable about the end of Megadeth, they always help you feel better when you are ill or feeling down.

Aero really lives up to his name. He's got a really deep brown coat of fur with a white scarf, chest, belliy and legs. His tail looks like a fox's with the tip of white at the end too.
And I noticed your young 'uns got a black nose Goldy. Aero's used to be pink before it developed brown spots and gradually became brown all over. Cute as a pup.:D What breed is it?

Beethoven (I think we are going to keep his name, we can't really think of anything else for him, lol) is a Siberian Husky/German Shepherd mix. :) He has a full black nose, yep. Our other dog Chase...he had a pink nose when he was a pup, and it turned light brown over time.

Beethoven is okay, but you need to pronounce it "Beeeth - uvin" not "Beytovin"

Imagine how awesome pets would be if they could be made to stay kittens or puppies forever?

I would love for this guy to stay a puppy forever! He is so hilarious because he isn't 100% coordinated yet and we have hardwood floors, so it makes for great times, lol. But he'll end up being bigger than our 1st dog, Chase. I can't even imagine having two that big...thank goodness he's only 9 weeks still. lol.

Yup, their poop just keeps getting bigger and bigger and bigger! That's why I want one of those robot dogs. No poop, just the occasional dropped screw.
