I don't know if this belongs in this forum but...
I recently got Doom 64TC working on Doomsday. Runs great and everything but I encounter a few glitches that I hope somebody can help me with.
First off, pressing the action button on certain things like switches will not work at all, this kind of makes it impossible to beat certain levels without cheats. And also, certain monsters sprites get glitched up, like when I kill an Imp it's courpse sprite just hangs in the air in mid fall.
Can anybody help me with this? I got the stuff to make it work from here (http://doomdepot.doom2.net/abs-download.html)

that is not the latest version of Doom64 TC. the newest version is totally seperate from Doomsday. you should be able to download it here http://www.newdoom.com/hosted/kaiser , but the site dosn't seem to be loading for me...lets hope Kaiser shows up.

I think I might have to use Doomsday. Because according to the intructions I just had to run the .exe to get it working, or did I put my Doom2.wad in the wrong folder. Because everytime I'd try to run Absolution.exe I'd get a this error message.

Edit: Nevermind, I got a new problem. I ran it and this was the error diagnostic at the end. How can I fix this?

Try running it with this command: -gl drOpenGL.dll or use maxzone192.bat
Doom2.wad needs to be stuck in: C:\Absolution\Bin

I put the wad in the right place. Forgive my illiteracy on the command part but where exactly do I run it from? cmd.exe or something?

You need the doom2.wad in your main /absolution directory. The reason why for all those gliches was because you were either using the oringinal Doomsday port, or you didn't properly installed the game.
The TC needs to be installed in its own directory. From there simply place the main doom2 wad in the root directory of absolution and double click the absolution.exe (no kickstart program is required)

That's a screenshot I took after I ran aboslution.exe. I followed some instructions on a website on where to put my doom2.wad. I just wanna know why I'm getting this direct 3D error message.

What folder do you have Absolution in? Is it in C:\Absolution or is it in C:\Doomsday? I believe that's what Kaiser's asking you, in case you didn't understand. :)

There's another problem. You got a 3dfx Voodoo3.
Just to be safe, download the latest version of direct x and try it again. If that doesn't work, then its your video card to blame.

Nope. Put everything in the absolution folder. Well, if there is a place to download the latest version the let me know, because my PC meets the required specs, that I know.
