Nobody wishes to make Gravity gun (like in Half-life 2) for jDoom? Imho idea very perspective.

That is probably impossible, I think you would need proper ragdoll physics and stuff to do that.

It's rather easy to make(code) a weapon that raise objects in the air to jDoom, but I assume the gravity gun can do more than that...

Why not? It's may be real for pickup something sprites like other players, medkit, armor...

Well MAZter (wow, another Russian dude, hi!), Doom Legacy engine is much more customizable than jDoom. Короче, в Doom Legacy можно наворотить все что угодно, используя legaciевский скрипт. Возможностей у скриптов jDoom гораздо меньше - они могут менять лишь самые базовые вещи. Так что не видать нам gravity-guna с 3D-моделями. :(

The difference is Legacy has a scripting language (a crap one though) FraggleScript. Currently Doomsday doesn't have any form of scripting language.

Although it MIGHT be possible in FraggleScript (I don't know anything about it though really) it would still be very difficult to create.

I can remmember I used fraggkescript just for changing colors of dynamic lights ..
It can´t add weapon I think.. I can remmember that there was no mention about weapon scripting in documentation...

I don´t want to work with this thing again .. when the script was wrong legacy simply died ( crashed , but also played player death sound :))

maknig Gravity gun in Doomsday would be very nice thou... Its bad to hear that it is qwite impossible to make this in this port thou... ^(

jDoom board, ZDoom board, ZDaemon board, Doome Legacy board.

I don't really care so much about being able to have a gravity gun, but I think it'd be cool if the doomguy could pick things up. Could you make, or perhaps tell me how to make [assuming I get vcbuild.bat working *spin* ], the mod that would allow this?

Not on Doom2.exe no.

Also, matzer, I couldn't get that wad to work on zdoom, did you have to do anything strange to get it to work?
