Nobody wishes to make Gravity gun (like in Half-life 2) for Doom Legacy? Imho idea very perspective.

dude that is messed up, i was going to post this idea i had for this....oh well ill just post it now! :D
ok heres all we gotta do:
replace the sprites of the fist with gravity gun pics (load up map in "dm_construct" and then take several pics)
find some sort of variable that is active when the player is shooting.
when the player shoots, look in the #of degress the player has set there view to, and find all inanimate objects in that view (also set a varible telling the that user fired once)
get a lock on the one most in the center of the players view
activate script that pulls object towards player, speeding up as its closr
when object it about the legenth of a couple feet hold it there
as the player turns, always be sure the object remains in front of the player
when the player fieres again, compute some stuff to make whatever the player picked up go flying @ the angle that the players fireing at at about the speed of a turbo door
hopefully this will work, i intend to start looking stuff up this afternoon. :)

Well, you really think it is possible in Legacy? Heh, it will be better if they make slopes and decorate first.

Why not? It's may be real for pickup something sprites like other players, medkit, armor...

heh, if they want they will make it. I just sad. that its not easy to do this and it's impossible with scripts

hey, worst case u can just bind a coupla keys to the gravity gun control scripts if u cant see when the player is fireing..
