Ok map03 is up for grabs since Torn went missing. Whoever says they want it first can have the slot and please only take it if you can make a level within a few months. If nobody wants it, then I'll tackle the bugger myself.
map26 is still up in the air and I'm waiting for Agent Spork to answer a PM I just sent him.
By the way, what happened to Nuxius? He was last on here on November 16th, 2004 01:58 PM. That's not good. :(

I've been trying to get in here for a while now.
For some reason, when I visited the forum last December, I had noticed it logged me out for some reason. So I tried to log in, but it wouldn't accept my password (matched my notes, but who knows, I could have screwed up somewhere). So I clicked the lost password link for it to send me a e-mail, but after about 30 minutes, it still hadn't sent me a email. So I tried it again, and after an hour this time, still no email. So I figured maybe it was a daily thing, but I was going on vacation the next day, so I'd just worry about it when I get back.
Well, tried it again today, and still no go. So I tried using the "conact us" link at the bottom, but the email bounced back to me. I took the .nospam part out, thinking it was there so spambots wouldn't grab the email off the page, should I have left it in?
And obviously I can't use any of the email links to email members, since they only work if you're logged in.
So as a last attempt, I'd figured I try to create a new account, to see if that would work. Bam, sent me a email right away. But it still won't send a email for my Nuxius account (I tried it again after I got the email verification for this account).
Also, just to make sure it wasn't my other email account, I sent an email to it, and it got there, no problems at all. So it isn't anything on my end.

Welp, since I know that no one else will finish their maps, I will takes slots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and maybe 15. We can outsource the rest of the maps to India ;)

Nope, they are to be redone from scratch. I was planning on using my DooM: Enema (tm) engine, which has been secretly withheld until now.

The point of code tags is to format text so it's readable. People here usually use it for HTML and C examples.
The previous link you had didn't do anything except hilight though. That was just weird

Yeah, I kind of had that map pictured in my mind when I was mapping *guilty*
The area in the middle shot is actually the equivalent of the side passage in Underhalls where you get the SSG. Only this time the passage makes a loop and has this area in the middle. Even the SSG is there. It's going to be behind the fence. Expect it to be properly guarded this time :)

Hmm... I need some more inspiration. That Underhalls theme is cool, but flooded tunnels alone might become a bit boring after a while. I'll have to throw in some other elements as well.

How about some nukage or lava in those tunnels. You could make it a nuclear power plant where you need water to cool the radioactive elements, or something.

Some nukage is already in. The level is going to be in a water cleaning facility, so naturally there's an area where the poluted water is stored.

There are also floodgates that can be opened or closed, allowing the player to control the water level in some places.

Heh, well thanks to Mystic's color lights (at least I think they are his) I've been able to mark the switches that lower or raise water throughout the level. That'll make it easier for the player to see which switches are interconnected. So far there's a blue, red and green pair.

id rather not do map 26 as I don't have much time but nobody else is interested. I wish Spork would just finish his map but he doesn't answer my PM messages. gah.
By the way has anybody heard from -Ki- or talk to her on some messenger? Id like to know how her map is coming along.

he says hes still doing his map
best way to get ahold of him is on irc.oftc.net at #zdoom
i can try and make map if you guys need me too :p wont be anothing special tho
just started mapping a little over a week ago
probabaly will be a small one, im not really comfortable doing big maps yet

Looks like we have everything under control. If somebody pops out we can use that Conglom map, iori's map or even my Lavalplant map. ;)
