Hi there!.
It has been a long time since I used this part of the forums (damn, it was my suggestion *funnynot* ) but well, I sort of abandoned a mod I was working on (big, bigger than I could manage) and started another similar thing. I´m here to talk about this similar thingie and post some screenshots of it :).

Outside scene... I needed some screenie to show that it actually has snow!.
As always happens to me, screenies aren´t particularly spectacular but...
Well, as it´s seen on the screenies, the maps have some tech-snowy feel and the storyline revolves around this kind of environment. The story is about the player going into some complex located in a very cold place :P to retrieve... well, to retrieve something. Expect the storyline to be a little bit more ellaborated than what I´ve said :D.
It does feature new textures and flats (and also textures and flats from the glorious nightmare1 texture pack by Nick Baker), multiple 3d floors, ladders (with the vile underwater trick), and decent architecture (I´m trying it to run in an average computer).
It will feature new sounds (ambient and non ambient), loads of scripting stuff and, if possible (if the startscript stuff is added in the Legacy´s BEX support) new weapons and enemies.
Gameplay will be a mix of action, jumping and mild puzzle solving, it all embedded in the storyline since I plan it to be quite storyline driven...
Since I aborted my first attempt to do somethig due to it being quite vast for me, I´ll try to make this mod only 3 maps long. The maps are planned to be of an average size, but rather difficult (let´s see what I come with when I add all the things to the map!. Now it´s only linedefs, sectors and stuff) so it gives a nice gameplay value.
And about the development... Map 01 is completed. Only the map, no things, no scripts, no nothing. It can be "played" but offers nothing except seeing what the map is about. All scripts and stuff of Map01 are planned. Everything about Map02 and Map03 is only imagined *rofl*...
And that´s all. I expect your comments and requests.
