Who maintains the pages linked to on the newdoom homepage? The link says Doomsday links? It seems like things are frequently added, but never removed when the link points to a file that doesn't exist.

About 1/ 2 of the links on those pages are dead, so if whoever is in charge of it reads this, could you remove or perhaps place a comment on the status of the links that don't work?

Thanks. :)

That site hasn't been updated in ages.
I'm going to try and rebuild jdql as a site like Doomsday links, but I havn't got the webspace yet.

....erm...what???? what is this??? I've never heard of it.

Just ran over to the main Downloads section, and there is no mention of any such thing as far as I can see.

Does anyone have a working link to this mod please, I'd love to have a look at it.

Thanks for that.

Unfortunately, I haven't a clue how to get it working. I've unpacked everything and put it all into the following places.

'JDoomC.dll' into 'C:\Doomsday\bin'
'CTDemon.pk3' into 'C:\Doomsday\Data\JDoom'
all the KSP files into 'C:\Doomsday\Kicksprofiles'

But the KSPs do not appear within the Doomsday Kickstart launcher, no matter what I do.

I'm obviously overlooking something, and would be greatful for any advice.

Ha, I too had problems with this, glad to know someone else is going through the same thing. ;)

Unpack the zip to the doomsday folder, then in kicks, load whatever game you want, but in the dropdown box, the name will be followed by "Crouch Mod".
Eg:
"Ultimate Doom"
"Ultimate Doom Crouch Mod"

EDIT: Wow, I feel stupid, I didn't read the last 2 lines of your post. *whatever*
If you're using winzip to open the files, just go into classic mode and extract the KSP file yourself. *thumbs*
