View Full Version : It worth the effort to make a TC for JDoom?

Hi Jdoomers. Im involved on a TC conversion for Doom2 with new 3d monsters and textures and so on. To make it of course, I starting learn modelers, painting programs, and Doom Builder of course, but I ask myself: It worth the effort? With Doom3, Unreal and so many games around with its advanced engines, can you capture the attention of gamers? Thanks for your opinion.

I think you can capture the attention of the gamers. Of course not every gamers' attention, but there's quite a load people playing Doomsday.
The more you get done, the more attention you get.

Well, its a good thing to know if there are a lot of people playing JDoom. And I have Zoow, but my old pc cant handle it. Anyway, seems a incredible work.

I think that question is a bit personal.
If you love Doom and want to make a TC for it, why not?
Who cares what other games are around. If you make a TC for jDoom then I'm sure almost every person at Newdoom will show interest.
