Dear community,

it was several years ago, but I still remember: There once was a megawad for DOOM II, where the story was continued after the end of DOOM II: The cube-throwing head of the great mastermind of hell exploded - but behind it, a stairway went even deeper down into hell. And one level contained extremely small walls to balance over them.

Does anyone know what happened to that piece of work, and which name this file might have? Could it even have been banned, due to a too close relation to the original DOOM II?

DOOM ]I[--The Forgotten Realms (Version 1.0b) (http://www.doomworld.com/idgames/index.php?id=12515) by Tom "Timon" Grieve

Not a megawad though - just 11 maps. Apparently he intended to expand it beyond this, but I don't know of any later versions. There might have been some though.

Been so long since I grabbed a new wad, I forget... do you have to do anything special to the files once you've downloaded them to be able to use through JDoom?

The simple way: Add it to the custom command line with "-wad" parameter.

The "perfect" way: Create a KickStart profile (as I once described for "Eternal Doom" in this thread (http://forums.newdoom.com/showthread.php?t=22158)).
