I tried to download the jDTP, but instead of taking me to the files I want, the site just keeps bringing up the download page and says this:
"There is a configuration problem. Please inform the administrator"
I tried downloding the music pack and other things and I keep getting the same thing! What's the deally, Yo? All I want is the latest version of the jDTP.

Yep thats the right one. I think octets is the measurement I was looking for, I know French descriptions are slightly different from English, right?
Thanks Cain, you're a diamond ;)

Hmm. Ah well, according to this page, I was wrong anyway: http://sebsauvage.net/comprendre/unites/
I just got confused, because whenever I've browsed a french site, all the files are measured in mo, ko etc *grin*

Hum, It's quite easy :
Bits = Bits
Octets = Bytes
Ko = Kb
Mo = Mb
Go = Gb and so on

I made similar on my site

well i put the textures in doomsday/data/jdoom/textures and launched the game to see that only a few of them were visible in game. so i thought wtf, and consulted the readme, which says "Simply create a folder with the correct name inside the relevent texture folder and extract those game specific textures to it, eg "data/jdoom/textures/doom1-ultimate" or "textures/doom/doom1." so i have to make subdirectories for each game? and if so how do i know which textures are for which game, bc theres 454 of them.

Hmm, thats what I thought in the first place. But that page seems to be saying that 1 Ko is 1000 bytes(octets)... Should be 1024, right?

yes, but everybody says 1ko (1kb sorry :D) for 1024byte
it is just to simplify
it is the kind of thing of which it is necessary to pay attention when one partition a hard disk for example
