if any of you are familiar with the Thread Stuck in Device Driver problem, you might know that theres not much to help it.... well this is what happens...

i play doom 3 fine for a bout 5 minutes, then out of no where it will freeze but i can still hear sound, it usually loops a sound over and over. after waiting anywhere between 5-45 seconds, ill be able to play again for a short time until it happens again. every once in a while, doom 3 will crash or the screen will just completley scramble. i know it def sounds like its my video card, which is a geforce fx5200 ultra. (shit). but, i dont have this problem with any other games. I play UT2004 and Americas Army no problem, but ehhh shit happens. ive installed the latest drivers, re installed doom 3, put my gfx card on high performance, and well, shit.

any help at all and id appreciate it cuz not being able to play doom sucks :(

i took my graphics card out and cleaned the fan with a q tip, now i leave my case open on my pc and i have a huge fan blowing high powered inside it , heh. and i went back into my doom 3 files, and where people change the cache size for performance, i decreased the number a bit. seems to be working all though its still not 100% fixed. damn me and my emachines.
