Ok, I picked up a router so I could take my XBOX on-line with XLink.

Anyhow I got things set up, but now the built in firewall is giving me crap on my PC. I can no longer share files (legal ones) with other people who are also behind Firewalls.

If anyone has one of these units (not a linksys a D-Link) and could be of help on howto take down the firewall, I'd be grateful.

I don't have one, but I tried to set up a colleague's one once. Pain in the ass with those!
There must be something like "virtual server" somewhere. In this menu you can open specific ports for specific IP adresses. So, the best way to get things going again is to assign a static IP adress to your PC(s) and XBox, and to specify the needed ports to every IP.
