What's your favourite weapon in the classic doom games other than the BFG.

Hmm, for me its a mix between the double barrel shotgun and the plasma rifle:p

The chaingun. Nothing better than ripping through hordes of Cacos and Imps. I really like Doomsday's chaingun replacement model. The spinning gun, the sound; awesome. For me it looks and feels a lot stronger than the old chaingun.

the chaingun is weak compared to the demon equivilant.

for me its the Rocket Launcher.

Super Shotgun for me. I loved walking into a room of 20 Former Soldiers and letting rip with the Super Shotgun, 12 down with one blast.

Although The fist in berserk is another favourite of mine.

Chaingun for me, but not because of the same reason that doomedace mentioned. I like it because it's the best sniper weapon in doom.

I prefer the single barrel over the double for it's quicker reload.

Fist baby! prooves how much of a real doomer you are by getting up in their faces and letting loose your fists. plus when you get berserker it makes a slushy sound when you kill 'em. i leeeeeerve that sound. super shotty was second pick...

The plasma to me is the most satisfying to fire, i love "melting" former humans into bloody goo.
