I want to setup a dedicated Legacy av server... problem is however, once the game hits a map that has a story board, the game stops there til the host hits a key to make it go on. thus making a dedicated co-op/dm server quite pointless. if possible, could something be done to give it a 20 second timer or something? like in dm mode?
Hope you guys could do something about it.

Yeah this has been an on going topic for awhile now , as is the only way around it is for the server to be client side or somewhat maintained for map change. yes legacy still needs a dedicated option.
Legacy's net code in the current C version was based on LAN only from what i'v been told , so at that time they probably didn't worry about it seems how the server would have been a player anyway.
But now days broadband connections legacy would more so liked to be played over the internet with consideration of low ping times.thus in need of some sorta dedicated server console and an auto intermission change "without having to press the spacebar to continue fragging" , ie map07 intermission.
A dedicated server console and a fix for the intermission screens would be grate! - and if possible a user server cfg for setting up some map rotations etc. - something like setting up a quake3 server. simple batch and cfg is all the server hostie should need.
it would make sence for this option seems how there is a master server , it might aswell get put to good use.
