I made a small map, Doomgates Training Camp (http://www.doomgate.de/files/dgtc/dgtc.zip), where people can practise wallrunning, straferunning and rocketjump (fire a rocket against a wall direct in front of you and make a step backward) , but this rocketjump seems not to be possible with legacy? It works fine with vanilla DOOM.EXE, DooM95 and even windoom. Any Idea?? *bawl*
BTW: I am _NOT_ talking about rocket jumps like Q3 - for gaining more height, but about those -flat- rocket jumps, that are only possible with doom...

Yes, I had myself to experiment such a problem with Alien Vendetta, Map08: at the end, in order to bypass the last obstacle and to reach the end, you must use the RocketJump feature, but it's impossible with legacy v1.42 :(

That is unfortunate. Maybe a compatibility option for this would be a good idea.... was allow vertical rocket jump on in the menu when you tried this? If so, try turning it off.

Perhaps the most famous rocket jump of them all, the one in Sedlo's lv07-006 demo, works in Legacy 1.42 (in fact the whole demo plays back OK in Legacy, surprisingly). So presumably this is something in your settings.
Also, the rocket jump in Plutonia map12 (one of the longest of all, with archie assistance) works OK too.

Does this jumping work if you fire a rocket at the ground in front of you while running backward, instead of using a wall?
