I dont have network on my two PC-s. But i have established a direct cable connection on LPT1 ports. Can i play doom multiplayer over legacy on DCC?

Yes you can, providing you have either tcpip or ipx installed and bound to the dcc connection.

You may find this site useful:

I noticed the link, but there is only manual how to connect over DCC.
but there is nothing about enabling TCP IP and IPX on DCC.

Correct me if im wrong, and show me the precise link of it?

Sorry, that site is abit difficult to navigate to find certain info, What OS are you using for your pc's?

Regardless of the OS, you should be able to go into the network options and see what network protocol is installed

With Win9x, it usually shows the protocol like this:

TCP/IP > 10/100 Ethernet card (or whatever brand network card you have)

With Win2000 and WinXP, you have to go into the NIC's options to see what protocol is installed (as opposed to win9x which lists all cards/protocols/services in one window).

i think legacy only gives you the option of spx/ipx and tcp/ip connection types , u'd be best off investing in some network cards. 2 nics and a hub will work and just icsh your main box, but if your going to do it you might aswell do it right and get a nic for each pc and a router.

i'v never tried doom2.exe with lpt ports though lol only 14.4 modem ,ipx and serial, if it has a connection with the 2 pcs with ipx , then on both pc's change the net frames to 3.02 , although that was for a ipx and bnc type connection with doom2.exe and not legacy.
