OK, examine image here, of a room in DOOM Builder's 3D mode, which as you can see, has had an auto align performed on the wall textures.

And here is a picture of that same room inside Legacy. Please note I have infact saved my work in DOOM Builder, and I even closed out the program and re-opened it, to make sure it had saved.

I read a thread about db's autoaligning over at doomworld discussing the same thing, although not about legacy. I don't think it's legacy's fault, but Im unsure.

Prolly not Legacy in that case, wasn't sure so I figured I'd post here since I don't know who to contact about it.

I fixed it when I went into the node building part of the options and changed it to zennode normal build. It seems to do that with zdbsp iirc.

iori is correct, i had this problem before too (though i only noticed it when mapping for Legacy). use Zennode, and the problem should go away.

I forgot what key does auto-align. I'll have to find it again. I just got 1.64.

Will ZenNode wipe out my Fraggle Script?

Oh nice, I put Zennode in as DOOM Builder's Node Builder, and it killed my wad file, and says it will not build nodes, and to make sure there are no errors in the map...
...so I started a fresh map, and tried to save, got the same error.

Feel free to share the problem you had and how you solved it, it might interrest some people ;)

Now I'm curious. I configured DB to use ZenNode and I had no such problems.

IIRC ZDBSP doesn't (always) save the offsets on the linedef splits it makes when compiling the map, whereas Zennode does.

Oh sorry, all I did to fix it was select the drop down selector, rather than search the drive for ZenNode and figure out what parameters it needed.

Yes. It should be more obvious in DB, but now you know ;)
I'm thinking Planky should FAQ this thread...

Ya this topic should be pinned.
ANyhow, yes I always look over the obvious...
...except when it comes to polotics, then I wonder why so many don't see the obvious. I guess some day they'll feel as dumb as I do for overlooking this. :)

I was referring to how it should be more obvious in doom builder as what to do, at least in a readme or something (if it isnt already). This was not an obvious solution at all really, I came across it myself just by experimenting.
