Was going to post some screenshots up a few days ago, but then I realized I needed to change a bit of the architecture around because it wasn't looking so hot in ZDoom (I use Doomsday). Now the way I have it, it should look basically the same in any source port.

Anyway, can't decide on a name yet, but for some reason my mind keeps coming back to "Trigger Happy Fun"... maybe.

Thanks for the complements, guys.

Doom_Dude, could you please send me the pass so I can get the resource wad? Thanks in advance. :)

What a strange theme. Looks great! Don't like the SHAWN in shot1 though.

Grrr, stupid Risen 3d won't read my wad. Everytime I try to load it, all I get is an error

Executable: Risen3D ßV1.6.65 Oct 26 2004
Game path : E:\Doom Stuff\Risen 3D\
EDIT MODE : OFF
Z_Init : 64.0 Mb allocated for zone.
UDIR : E:\Doom Stuff\Risen 3D\R3DGames\FORESHADOWS\pwads\
SAVE PATH : E:\Doom Stuff\Risen 3D\R3DGames\FORESHADOWS\savegame\
PROBLEM: E:\Doom Stuff\Risen 3D\R3DGames\FORESHADOWS\pwads\foreshadows.wad is not a valid PWAD
Funny, considering the fact that Doomsday, zDoom, Boom and Legacy all read my "not a vaild" pwad just fine. >:

I also noticed some "visual blemishes" in my wad under Legacy, however, if I fix them, I'll create errors in all the other source ports. So Legacy users will just have to deal.

Man, me having to mess with all these other source ports to test my level only strengthens my love for Doomsday. Sure, Doomsday isn't perfect, but it's as close as I can find. Legacy and Risen 3D are both great source ports, however their front ends are just small bitch machines, all they do is bitch. I can't find this, I can't run that, I can't remember this, I can't do that, I can't, I can't I can't. They're so antagonistic it's almost depressing. :p Almost as bad as Windows ME. (almost)

Hey Nuxius Risen don't like this bit in your path: Doom Stuff.... because it don't like the space between Doom and Stuff. Not sure if they fixed that but I thought it was something that had been fixed. At least thats what I assume is the problem. Try installing Risen in a dir with no paths or get the latest version if you haven't already got that.

By the way methinks most texture weirdness (misalignments and gl_holes) seen in legacy is cause to it prefers the wad to be run through ZenNode.

Yeah, they fixed that, after I posted that, I tested another level just to try to narrow the problem down a bit, and it worked.

So after that, I tried shifting my level over a bit, just in case I had a line over a line or double vertices or something (I have level stiching on 99% of the time in DB, so I really didn't think that was possible, but still, you never know). It still wouldn't work. So then I copy and pasted my entire level (all 14,000+ sidedefs of it, thank goodness I have a somewhat fast computer) into a new file. Finally, it worked, although I didn't have any actions in it then. So I'm not sure if it just needed a fresh map, or it doesn't like some of my line/sector actions. I have DB set on vanilla Doom, so that would be rather silly, but I've seen stanger things happen before.

Anyway, I'll concern myself with it more when I'm done. It's the only one that doesn't like it, so I'm not too overly bothered by it at this time.

Also, in Legacy, my texture alignments came out fine, it just has to do with the way Legacy's rendering/drawing engine works. It's not not as refined as other source ports are, so there are some things in my level that are visible in Legacy that shouldn't be. It only happens after a certian event in my level (trying not to spoil anything here) so it's nothing bad or anything, like I was saying before, just a minor blemish.

Fortunately Legacy's GL renderer is being rewritten from scratch. That ought to solve a few annoying issues with it. :)

Those ceilings are cool. :D

I've honestly never seen this texture thing that Legacy does. :p
