ehm, i really dont want to annoy with that, but it seemed that nobody really payed attention to my second question about this ALIEN TC installation.
i mean i think that i installed everything right, but it's still not working.
i put the alienstc.pk3.zip into my Data\jDoom\Auto folder. But when i wanna start with kickstart, it is just closing.
what now ? alien is such a cool movie and i can remember that i was playing the old alien tc (without jdoom) a short time.
PLEASE ! give me a detailed help how to install, with simple english for better understanding.

If you mean it's crashing as Dday starts up....
You need to remove the two Finale deds from the PK3 because they don't work with new versions of Dday.
Then replace them with this ded I posted in another thread. I would link to the thread, but I can't find it now, so I'll just link to it again.

Remember to rename the extension to ded before use.
Perhaps Slide should release a new version with this fixed. Since this problem seems to be causing a fair few problems.

i have to use your one file and replace those two files (with your one) ? is this correct ?
and, stupid question: where do i have to put the alienstc.pk3.zip files then ? the file has to appear in the "WADs" ind kickstart ?
looks like i got another prob. when i place the two files into the zip, they dont have any path. what to do ?

You need to remove the two Finale deds from the Alien.pk3.zip and then either place the ded I linked to above in one of two places:
1. In the folder within the Alien.pk3.zip where the two in functional Finale deds you deleted were. Remember the file has to be added to the Alien.pk3.zip uncompressed for Dday to read it.
2. Run the ded and the Alien.pk.zip as separate files.
Though the ded I linked to isn't mandatory, it's only nesscerry if you want to see the couple of splash screens in the TC, which were contained in the two in functional Finale deds.
You can run the TC by adding the Alien.pk3.zip and ded (if you didn't place it in the Alien.pk3.zip and wish to use it) to kick-start as you would any wad or place the Alien.pk3.zip in the "Data/Jdoom/Auto" folder and the ded, if applicable in "defs/Jdoom/auto".

jo, cool, its finally working. but it looks like that the textures arent working totally correct. and is it normal that there are no enemies in the first level ?

As far I as can remember, there aren't any monsters on the first level. Also I believe the TC is still beta (though don't quote me on that, I'm not involved with the TC), so many minor errors such as texture mistakes from the original Aliens TC probably remain.

I made it on Nov 27, 2001 and I managed everything, so that it's now very easy to handle it
Extracted from the text file:
Ok... I have made some work on "Alien Total Conversion" (Doom1 version)
1) Dehacked revised and included into the wad...So, don't worry about it !
2) Some Sprite position corrected (hanging ones)
3) ZenNode 1.1 at work on it...
4) I have made the housework into it... Now, all is at the correct place (sprites with sprites, flats with flats,...) --> no more bug!
5) I have merged all the pwads in one
6) Wad's name : "AlienTc.wad"
7) Start play at level E2M1
