Anyone else have a problem with the Risen3D launcher not remembering where your IWADs are? I can't seem to get it to reliably keep them saved, it asks me to specify them almost every time.

If you have both Doom2 and Doom IWADS in C:\Risen3d\Data directory everything should ( will ? ) be fine. Much earlier versions of the Launcher did have the problem that you have now for me. Are you using the latest launcher V2 ? If all else fails email Abbs.

I use Vavoom, Risen3D, and jDoom, and have several others installed--and don't care to clutter up my HD with multiple copies of all the IWADs, so I've got them all in the jDoom directories and have been pointing them there as necessary. I guess I might have to copy the Doom2 IWAD over.
And yeah, latest launcher version and all that.

This may help.
Here is an excerpt from the R3DLauncher. htm ...
IWAD LOCATION
The R3DLauncher uses Risen3D's Compliant Iwad Structure. So it is important that your Iwads are located in at least one of the search criteria locations specified in the Risen3D documentation.
Alternatively, you can use the DOOMWADDIR to set the path as an environment variable in your autoexec.bat.
Example: SET DOOMWADDIR=C:\IWADS assuming yours Iwads were contained in the C:\IWADS Directory.
However, you will more than likely not have to worry about this as the structure is fairly flexible. If however the R3DLauncher indicates that it was unable to find the Iwads, you will be required to setup a Compliant Iwad folder by the method stipulated in the Risen3D Docs or just simply add your own user Iwad locations.
... hope it helps.

You can also use the -iwad parameter on the exe command line. Simple, easy and no duplicate IWADs required nor does one have to add SET vars.
For example: RISEN3D -iwad c:\doom2\doom2.wad -file ... and so on
I think all the ports support this. Dunno if the launcher does this? Seems it should since this is the easiest one. I don't use the launcher since I always launch from within DeePsea which has an open style of launcher where anything can be entered. The launcher makes all the variables a bit easier to recognize.

Maybe you could give us a detailed list, step by step of what you did.
