Yes, the DT Team are at it again.

Again, we plan to add a new feature to Doom Legacy that has not been seen before. DT2004 showed the first Legacy CTF (32 player) ever made. This time, we plan to have many new features.

DT2005 will feature 30 brand new maps with the same 6 game modes (Double Domination will most likely be replaced with Bombing Run). The level design will be the best we can get it and there will be many new textures included. Most of the maps will have to be extreamly massive because we plan to have a feature never seen in Doom before.

Thats right, vehicles. Doom Tournament 2005 will feature around 4 vehicles ranging from Aircraft to Tanks. There will also be Rocket and Plasma turrets, sniper rifles and more.

Have you got an actual coder to put vehicles in then? FS isn't a good idea for things like that.

Wadaholic: FS is the only scripting language Legacy has at the moment. Once a C++ version of Legacy is out we'll also have ACS which is much more powerful in many ways, more stable and fast too.

We have implanted a SMG that replaces the Pistol. The SMG is slightly more powerful than the chaingun but we plan to replace the Chaingun also with another weapon. ;)
