I hate horror games and movies but for some reason this game made me love DooM3
I seen lots of reviews some good some bad and I think about the good ones they made some mistakes like

-. sound of game is great but that not 100% true if you play with no sound card or
2 speakers but may be if you pay with creative sound blaster live 5.1 is true but in my case I can't play it as I can't stand loud sounds so i'm back to my 2 speakers now.

-. Must reviews say game is great well as we depens on what pc you have , 3D card
and so on .

My point is why they don't say game can be great depending on sound system , pc , 3d card
of course I love it but I disagree about everyone saying game sound is great becuase is not same always if u play with 2 speakers or 5.1 speakers.

Well just an opinion may be is a stupid post

I assume most reviewers usually have one machine to test the game on. The sound is fine on my machine and I'm using my onboard sound with 2 speakers + subwoofer and the game sounds really good.... no crackles or sound screwups.

If you can't play Doom 3 at medium-high resolutions with all settings on it's not worth getting. That's my opinion.

Why? It still looks pretty cool on 800x600 with medium settings, anti-aliasing turned off.

Well, I Guess that you're more demanding than I am.

I hate loud sounds and the subbuffer makes me nervious so im going to sell my creative sb live 5.1 and speaker , I am wondering how come I had soround sound with a 2 speaker pc before but i think i didn't need a subbuffer it had some called aureal 3d semiconductor
can some tell me how come I had soround sound with that pc before ?
