Ok here's what I have for a system.
I'm running window's XP home
Athalon XP2500
Asus A7N8X Deluxe
1GIG ram
GeForce 5200 (256 meg)

I got new drivers for the video card and window's is up to date.

What's going on is that the game is running so slow, like really choppy. I tried all the setting's I could think of, changed the resolutions tried the graphics setting's from highest to lowest. I cant figure out what the problem is. I know I have a good system but it's running like crap with game's. I dont have a virus and I run various spyware programs (i know that doesn't make a difference)

Anyone have any idea's what I should do?

They say the newer drivers at Gur3d (http://www.guru3d.com) help a lot.

I didn't find the driver's you were talking about. I did the pak suggestion and changed a few thing's like the set image_cachemeg 128 and set image cachemink 10240 but did notice much of a change. this is what i'm getting when I do the time demo now.
21 48 frames rendered in 275.3 second's 7.8FPS I know that has got to be low. i'm only in 640x480 mode with medium graphics. I know my system should handle way better then that.

Well after some research into the model card I have I have found out it's junk. it's not giving the performance it should. So now my question is what kind of video card would you all recommend?
