I cant unpack the pak files

Hi when ever i try 2 unpack the pak files it comes up with alot of corrupt files and wont allow me 2 unpack them properly ne1 know how 2 get round this it would b a gr8 help tnx ppl *alienate*

hi i downloaded the new winzip i was using win rar b4 i get this message when i tyr 2 extract from the pak000,pk4 SOME DATA IN YOUR ZIP FILE IS DAMAGED THE CRC IS 8646A481 BUT SHOULD BE 7DB864F8 ne help would b gr8ly appreciated

I can't imagine why this would happen for any other reason than a hard drive fault.

I have always had this kid if problem with winRAR thats why I aviod using it when ever possable, ;) but yeah a bad sector could cause the same error.

Hmm... never had any problems with Winrar myself. Although the interface does have some minor, but annoying flaws.

I dont see how it could be the archiver's fault at all, unless combined with certain sysem configurations (my friend bought a shitty motherboard that was somehow linked to CRC errors in 90% of archives he had, oddly enough).

Re-install doom3. That should do the trick.
