Saw this on PlanetDOOM and thought people might be interested in it.

I found this out by trying it. For those who want to battle it out with the cyberdemon, you can also drop him anywhere in the singleplayer game by placing the pk4 in your Doom3/base folder and typing spawn monster_nonboss_cyberdemon at the Doom3 console. You may want to edit his health in the included def file since its only set to 1000 (health of Mancubus).

Gurluas: Seeing as there is no model, those alpha defs are pretty much useless.

And as for the non-boss cyberdemon, I've added it to my personal mod, so it replaces the normal cyberdemon. Hopefully I'll get a better boss battle this time through.

Its quite easy really. All you need to do is open the nonboss_cyberdemon.pk4, extract the .def file included, open it up, find the line "health" under entityDef monster_nonboss_cyberdemon (about half way down) and change it to whatever you want (I set to 10,000 and had to empty everything into him). Then, save the file, open the pk4 again, and add it back in with whatever tool you use (I used WinZip), overwriting the exisiting .def. Just put the pk4 in your base folder and your ready to go (if its elsewhere). You now have a much tougher cyberdemon in the game *thumbs*

For map makers you don't need to edit the def file. Select the non boss cyberdemon (after he is placed in your map of course) and bring up the entitiy window, from there add "heatlh" in key and whatever number you want in the value box.

Whatever option they have in the def can be edited in the level editor. This is handy if you don't want to modify the existing def file.
