None of the above.
I think Limp, Korn, and Linkin have all overstayed thier welcome. Metallica, I haven't cared for, for years.

Metallica is my least hated of the group, and since I'm listening to them right now, I'll vote for 'em. Everything after Black album is trash though, unfortunately.

Why can't you make a list of bands which includes more than just bands you're a fan of?
Music is so odd today but linkin park have been cool for so long over doing it a bit, all their songs are similair (no diff), they always shout,
And please try and make sense next time. I'm not going to read that if it don't make sense. Sheesh!
Oh, And my fave would be......well quite frankly none of them. They all suck:p

That seems quite likely.
I mean, seriously, stop making such biased polls and such like. It's a sure fire way of getting a bad reputation. Broaden the choice in the polls and stop ramming what you like down other peole's throats.

I'll say Metallica 'cuz they writted some of the greatest classics of the (Hard?) Rock (One for example).

FLICKERSTICK! (ha...only regulars will understand)
I don't see how Bizkit rules. All Fred does is shout or try to sing? Do you think they are cool because they got Wes back? I dunno, Bizkit and Korn were so 1999/2000 (i think), their days are over.
Linkin Park will be over soon enough, and Metallica, is well....Metallica.
Then again, that's my opinion and everyone is entitled to their own. You will find out very quickly tough, that a LOT of people here aren't fans of the shout metal mainstream bands of the last 3-4 years, here.

IMO Fred Durst is just a singing businessman. He's all about money, power and greed. And besides, only little kiddies listen to them. Same goes for Korn more or less. I can't believe they were actually going to try and cover an NIN song. Thankfully they never did.:)
Anyway, all the bands I listen to (some I haven't listened to in ages)
Nine Inch Nails
Marilyn Manson
Megadeth
Iron Maiden
System of a Down
Judas Priest
U2
Greenday
Dragonforce (going to see them live in september:D)

Metallica - and I'm the person most unlikely to listen to them, if you knew me. I dont know why, but I dont mind their albums after The Black Album, in fact thats what I started listening to them on. There is a total difference to their pre-black sound, but its so true that 80's hair metal has no place nowadays, and they seemed to change with the times I think. Oddly enough, some people call out 'NUMETAL' whenever they are mentioned (mostly people I know in RL), but I've heard quite a bit of numetal myself unfortunately, and the post-black stuff isnt it. Meh, thats my opinion anyway.
//edit: And what it up with all these biased polls? Shouldnt this be renamed to "Which of my favourite bands do you like?"

This (http://www.blistering.com/news/newsdet.php3?ID=2583) is how great Limp Bizkit is. Fred Durst should have the shit kicked out of him, but he also happens to be the industry's biggest wuss. After delaying a concert to talk shit about Scott Stappe he wussed out of a boxing match offer from Scott (who also sucks but at least isn't such an asshole). Once when someone hit him with a pie (something even Bill Gates took in stride), he had security grab the guy and hold him while he signed the guy's forehead. Then after signing his forehead, he actually pressed some rediculous charges with 4 counts of harrassment against the guy. Fred Durst is a gutless chickshit.
Korn sucks. I heard that their first two albums might have been good before they changed their style for marketability, but I haven't heard them. Follow the Leader and later sucks.
Metalica started sucking with the Black Album I think.
Linkin Park sucks. I think their studio album has some studio musician playing instead of their real guitarist, because of some bullcrap like he couldn't play good enough.

Metallica but really only up to the black album. I cannot stand thier music after that and they are not even my favourite band anymore.
Crikey even I can't remember all the bands I have in my collection! Bleh just to say it in short, I like hard rock and metal in general but do enjoy some other kinds of music too from time to time and read metal magazines just to see what I haven't heard in that genre. Fair enough I do tend to get quite absorbed in that music, just because I've found there's quite some diversity in it which wasn't apparant when I first got into the genre but I'm not just blinkered to that, money is the problem when it comes to buying CDs so I tend to pick stuff with some care that I will like it and not find I only like 1 or 2 songs on it. Internet radio is great but I've not had that for a while. :( My tip, just keep searching and keep your ears open, I've tried some music I don't like but I at least gave it a fair listen and some bands I've found I really enjoy despite my doubts.

I prefer Master of Puppets the most. That album, and the actual song Master of Puppets in particular, was a masterpiece. Listening to that, and then the shit they're playing now makes me want to cry sometimes :-/ It's a damn shame they're wasting their talent on the nu-metal ticket.

Damn right, i loved Master of Puppets (The album and song). Heh, I can play the start of Battery on my Guitar :D. Ride the lightning would have to be my favorite album by Metallica. It had awsome songs like For Whom the Bell Tolls and Creeping Death. Ah, the good Old Metallica. I can't complain about their new stuff; Load was good, Reload was good but St. Anger was Ok aswell. The only problem is, is that St. Anger really doesn't have that Metallica feel that the other albums do, and it only had a couple of good songs.

doominsanity, I could probably recommend something to you, but I've never heard Heartwork. The only Carcass I have is Symphonies of Sickness.
Metallica - Er, I don't even remember the last time I listened to them.
Limp Bizkit - AAAAAAAAACK!
Lincoln Park - AAAAAAAAACK!
Korn - AAAAAAAAAACK!
Tool - AAAAACK AAAACK AAAAAAAAACK!
Okay, I'm done.
What do I listen to when I'm not going AAAAAAACK?
Lately:
Abigor
Antaeus
Nokturnal Mortum
Graveland
Marduk
Yeah, I know it's all black, but it's what I've been in the mood for.
Have any of you heard the new Rammstein album? It's pretty good.
