I dunno where this should go, but here goes. How can i run duke 3d on my win xp pro machine? I know i could download a dos shell, but i lost the one i knew worked well, and was wondering if they have something similar to doom95, for duke3d. Thanks.

That port Jono Fowler did is a bomb! ARMYguy, You wont be dissapointed!.
I dont know if you were as impressed with the Original Blood1 as I was, but I sent him a message. Maybe if more people would tell him they would like Blood converted also, maybe he would think about it.

It's disappointing as hell, because Blood does have a lot of fans.

Yup. Blood is one of the main reasons I still use a pc with MS-DOS 6.2 :)

Actually, that would be a terribly irritating thing to happen to him, because as others have said its quite impossible.

Consindering since Monolith didn't release the Blood source engine, it IS impossible to port without an engine.

Actually, Monolith doesn't own the source code for Blood, can't remember exactly who does but I'm sure I saw that explained at one of those "Release Blood's source code" campaign sites. I don't think it's going to happen any time soon, perhaps if it's sold...
Fortunately (for me at least), the Shadow Warrior source code is coming out as soon as the Jonof's Duke3d port is polished and bug free, according to the 3DRealms staff.

Oh and by that, I think they really meant, 'We aren't going to release the Shadow Warrior source code, until we are sure. That there is gonna be a good Duke Nukem 3d port. Then we will release it.'
Atleast that's what I remembered what Joe Siegler or George Broussard said.

Jonof's Duke Nukem port is about one step to perfection, there's a lil glitch when mlooking up to the sky and another one pressing ESC at the main menu, besides that, I'm sure it's pretty much done. Shadow Warrior aint's DNF, I heard some of the 3drealms guys blowing smoke off SW players' wishes, everything seems clear now, SW's source code will be released and I'm quite sure it won't take years hence.
