Is there two storylines ?

At some point of game there is choice to send, or not to send transmission to earth.. i choosed second and then kelly was angry at me.... telling something that i have last chance.... but after some time i got transmission from kelly that he apologes that incident.... so is there two different storylines or not ? is everything will go the same way if i will send this transmission ?

I'm sure there's some change in dialogue if you didn't send the message, later in the game.
