View Full Version : Doom 64 Tc Quits To Desktop! Help Please.

Whenever i try and launch Doom64 TC i get kicked back to the desktop. I think it may be something to do with EAX? is EAX required? because i dont think my soundcard supports it

hmm, it doesn't seem to load the doom2.wad file, are u sure u've put it in the right folder?

Yes it does, its right there above all the other files.

Rick, can you add the command -v to the command line and put the doomsday.out you get from that up? There dont seem to be any immediate clues in that. Dont worry about EAX though, the game just falls back to plain stereo sound if it cant find EAX

Yeah, i have the same problem with doom64 tc, it just seems to error and quit to the desktop, i can't seem to figure it out

Eh, nevermind about the previous question, i figured it out, you have to have the folder Absolution in C:/, other wise it wont work, just a hint of advice
