no .pk4, no multiplayer :\

i just tried to go online and play multiplayer but when i was about to connect to the room it said it couldnt because i was missing the five pak files. erk. another thing aside from this is when i put "no password" in the filter it never works. anyway, am i the only one who ditched his paks and is having this problem? how can i get around this. there has to be a setting somewhere. hmm....

DooMMooD, Have you tried repacking them with no/little compression? I'm guessing this would still provide the benefits of uncompressing the files, and might let you play multiplayer.

Damnit, did the same thing. You might be able to get the pk4's from the cd, but I havent checked that yet.

Yeah you can get them off the CDs, I had to get them that way to do the manual install. If there is no other way you could just leave them in the base folder and just rename them by adding a .BAK to the end for single player, then rename them back when you want to DM.
