I believe Hextex2.zip contains the animated liquid and slime flats.

Here are said flats by Chris: Flats (http://www.geocities.com/the_shinjo2002/Flats.zip)

Right click and save as.

Chris Bogstads Heretic textures are modifed versions of the orginals. Razumen's Heretic Texture Pack is similar in appearence if you can't get Chris's pack.

The rextexturing project textures are done from scratch and more detailed than the originals, though they don't all match the texture they are replacing.

One other thing is there a jHexen UI out yet ?

There isn't at the moment. I think Slide said it was because there wasn't enough material out there to make it worth while. There are a few patches and a font pack around.
