Mouse problems

I don't know if this has been posted here before, but I don't think so, and since you guys have already helped me alot in the past I thougt to post it here:

The problem is that everytime I double-click a folder, instead of opening it, it goes into the searchscreen (you know with the little doggy), this is really annoying, and I can't find a way to help it in the configuration screen, I tried every obvious map such as 'Mouse' and 'Mapoptions'.
This is a tricky one I'd say, lots of thanks beforehand

The file association is probably stuffed up. When you say 'map' do exactly do you mean? A doom map?

Any folder, the "C:" folder, the 'My Documents" folder ... oh dear, map =/= folder xD, sorry
Weird as it may seem, once I go far enough into the folders, it goes back to auto-open

Umm what? you might have the single click opens crap, if your icons on your desktop are underlined you do. dont remember how to fix it though...
