With little over 10 hours left in the wait, how is everyone feeling?

Me? I can't believe that a game that i've waited THIS long for is coming out... tomorrow.

TOMORROW. I can't even believe it, even as i type these words. To-freaking-morrow!

How's everyone that doesnt have the game already holding up? Gonna party tonight like its 2145?

Well I only have 9 hours left here on the US east coast, guess it'll reach here first, but I won't be getting it tomora.

9 hours?!... I have to wait 9 DAYS because my GeForce 6800GT isn't being shipped in until August 10th, at least.

I'll have to wait until this Fall/Winter to get it for my Xbox. Well, at least I won't have to worry about system requirements...

i don't think i can get mine until the 4th... thats what some guys said at gamestop. Who knows maybe they'll have it tomorrow. i won't be excited until I actually have it. I think i burnt out all my "OMG DOOOOOM3" energy a few days ago.

They say the release is the 3rd, but then they (gamestop) told me THEY get it sometime on the 3rd, but it won't be available until the next day.

I'm calling tomorrow, of course.

I've never seen this kinda insanity for a game before. I hope next time they just keep saying 'when it's done' and then suddenly somebody says 'omg it's in the stores' and everybody heads off to the stores worldwide and gets a copy. Meh. Like that could happen.

hah, yeah that'd be great. We've gotten so impatient with the whole 'internet' thing. I went out to buy the original doom 'cause I loved the shareware. The guy at the staore said they didn't have Doom, but they had Doom2. I didn't even know there WAS a doom2.

I think this kinda of thing all started for me when they set a release date for playstation 2 and we counted down for over a year... and they kept the date, which is amazing.

well i already have doom 3 installed. dont you guys have it yet? its damned scary. but i was a bit dissapointed at the weapons tough theyr not so powerful well im only in map 3 :) hope they get better oh and yhea forgot to mention its dark... *what* who turned the lights off? oh just a hell spawn

You can either equip a flashlight or a gun. And Doom 3 should've had more guns.

Got my illegitate copy already-I will still buy it as soon as It gets here though.

Its toltally awesome. Except its not as scary as I though it would be, In fact it hasnt scared me once... I think im on level 5 or 6, something like that.
