NewDoom forums foul up in Netscape.

I was trying to login to the NewDOOM forums today. I went to http://www.newdoom.com clicked on http://forums.newdoom.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=58 which was the forum for DOOM III, and I was automaticly taken to google instead. This only happens in Netscape as I have been able to access through Internet Explorer.

CyberG showed me that on MSN. I tried it in Firefox but it worked perfectly. I can't see why Netscape would do it. It's pretty close to Firefox in terms of its browsing technology.

I've had that a couple of times as well. I also get www.doomworld.com taking me to clan newdoom every once in a while, for whatever whacked out reason. I seem to recall something like restarting or clearing the cache sorted it out.

Just use Firefox. Its based on Netscape 4 and uses the same rendering engine as Netscape 7.

That was using firefox. Ive also seen it happen on Safari as well (my brother has a Mac)

Firefox is good. Pity we didn't keep it long. My dad thought something was wrong with t but as usual he had done something to it and said nothing about it.
