What about the Xabre?

I've got a weird compulsion to ask about the Xabre line of graphics cards. God knows I don't intend to pick one up, but exactly how good / bad have these things turned out to be?

They were pretty bad. Offered sub-par performance often with degraded image quality. A GF4MX was usually faster and only thing it brought to the table was it was a cheap DX8 card. Now SiS's graphic division has merged with Trident to form XGI. Though the Volari is an improvement it still has its problems.
