hello all.

i remember reading a paper somewhere about what one of the guns in doom is named... i forget tho does anyone know?

its been bugging me FOR SO LONG its not even funny haha.

Erm.... exactly which gun in Doom are you referring to?

1. Fists or Chainsaw
2. Pistol
3. Shotgun or Super-Shotgun
4. Chaingun
5. Rocket Launcher
6. Plasma Rifle
8. BFG ( Big Freak'n Gun)

in addition there are a few other weapons that never made it to the final game.
the Dark Claw and the Unmaker never made it to Doom or Doom 2.

but the Unmaker was in Doom64, which also saw the absense of the Lightning gun that it was supposed to have.

The Unmaker in DooM 64 sucked. It wasn't the way it was supposed to be.

Yeah. Once you have all three demon artifacts (check out secret levels 29, 30, and 31 to find them) you'll make huge legions of demons drop like flies in an instant, at the expense of some energy cells

even in its unpowered state the laser was still pretty powerful...

Hey I said regular Shotgun was my favorite too.

Yah, a vast majority sure do...

But the original Shottie just gives you this real life weight feeling...

almost like you can feel it sortof.

Best FPS weapon of all time bar none.

The Unmaker in DooM 64 sucked. It wasn't the way it was supposed to be.

you picked up artefacts for it and man, it was a kick ass weapon.

BTW. are there any wads for Doom 64 out there?

i was working on one awhile back. never happened though

i probably would get around to making a map or two one of these days, but the Doom64 config dosn't work with the newest version of Doom Builder
