Unfortunately the name of the archive is extremely generic and the word rampage returns way to many hits for me to look to hard haha.

Actually, I searched for "Doom rampage edition" but the words Doom, Rampage, and edition return to many hoohah hits.

That DRE wad is 70 some mega in file size (cause it holds quite a few MP3's). and uses an OLDDD ver of Zdoom. (one that will not even run on my system)

..with a new wad like this.. they could have at least made it for the last ver of zdoom. >.<

the files not hosted on the site. you have to connect to doom connecter and talk to the owner of DRE to have it sent. cause the site the file was hosted on went down, and if it was open on DRE site the site would very quickly pass it's bandwith limit and be down for a month.

but you also have those plasma shooter thingies on his(her?) hands.

Meh, Being a CyberDemon would be kinda like being in God mode using only rockets and the BFG... would get relatively boring...

Not to mention that navigating Doorways would become quite difficult. hehe.

They would have to implement a "crawl" feature.

There arnt any people hosting the file cause it's so big. over 70 megs. if the mp3's were token out it be only 9 megs or less.

I was gona host it till I 1. fount out how big the file size was and 2. cause the ver of zdoom it uses wont run what so ever on my comp.

the main thing is the MP3's in the wad are REAL FULL SONGS. a.k.a illegal stuff :P

Alot of people won't care that the songs and stuff are illegal though... I mean, half the people here probably didn't even buy the copy of Doom they have.

I for one have all registered versions... I even paid for my beautiful Hellmaker all those years ago.

I paid for my copy of Doom1, and in one way or another I paid for Doom2. I got it off the Quake IDGAMES disc. But you see, that's one of the reasons I use MacDEU. It's free, dammit.

No one actually played DRE an liked it apparently. I certainly don't think it's worth it and think the MP3s just waste all that space.

I have it. but it wont play.. it seems about 85% of the people hate it. and 15% like it. I'm one of the 15% cause it wouldn't play wit the icky old zdoom XD

Do you just hate ZDoom or will it actually not play? Because if it won't play make sure you have the right version.

I'vee never played DRE, and I'm not going to download a WAD that big just to listen to MP3's, so if someone too those out, or converted them to .MUS, then I'd play it. That is if the old version of ZDOOM runs.

Mastermind. I don't hate Zdoom. but the 47i ver of Zdoom that comes with the wad WILL NOT work on my system. it just freazes up the moment it starts. Can't even close it useing any of the normal ways. aside ctrl+alt+del.
