Hi dudes, I've been trying to put Doom64 in the Kickstart2 with another Doom games...

I prepared a .ksp file with this content:

[Profile]
Name=Doom64: Absolution
DLL=Absolution\Bin\Doom64.dll
Runtime_folder=Absolution\Bin
Definitions_folder=Absolution\Bin\Defs
WAD_List=Data\jDoom\doom2.wad Absolution\Bin\Data\doom64\doom64_abstin.wad Absolution\Bin\Data\doom64\Auto\d64mus.wad
DED_List=Absolution\Bin\Defs\Doom64\doom64.ded
Doomsday=Absolution\Bin\Absolution.exe
Story=Total Conversion of Doom64

But I cannot point the graphics DLL to "Absolution/Bin"; someone can help-me with this?
Only because this, the game refuses to load, cause Kickstart load /Doomsday/Bin and no /Doomsday/Absolution/Bin

Thanks a lot for help, and sorry bag english :D

The newest version of Absolution will not run in Doomsday Kickstart. From the "READ ME" file:

"This is NOT an add-on for Doomsday/Doom2, please make sure you have this installed on a different directory.

You do NOT need Kicks.exe to start the game, instead, simply double click Absolution.exe to begin playing."

Absolution has it's own modified version of Kickstart.

I probably have the old version that DID run in Kickstart, but it is a very large file, and I have no server space to upload it for you.

Ok. Sorry I assumed you didn't know.

From all I have read, it is not possible anymore. As far as I know, the latest version of Absolution cannot be started with any Kickstart, and the kickstart that is included with Absolution will not start anything else but Absolution.

I am still curious how the add-on levels for Absolution will even be able to be run, and no one has answered this question for me. But the new levels are not out yet, so we have to wait and see.

I think Kaiser might add an episode selection thingy to the menu but I don't know.

I did find the older "abstin.exe" file that WILL run under JDoom, and I do have enough space found to put it up for you to download if you want. Let me know.
