Space Marine Goes Sleeping is a small mini episode for Ultimate DooM. It replaces 3 levels from Inferno. The 2nd level of them is a remake of Limbo. The other 2 are intro and outro for Limbo.

The episode features ambient sounds, colored lights, some new finales, some modifications to monsters & weapons and one sky model for Limbo, the other 2 maps uses SKY4.

Download SMGS (http://koti.mbnet.fi/jeejeeje/files/LIMBO.RAR)

Installation instructions are included in a text file in the packet. So don't forget to read them...

Great :)

I have now tested it with 1.7.15, 1.8-rc1 and 1.8-rc2 and none of them crashes because of the mp3 was not found...

I think I'll add those empty mp3s... Done that now. So it shouldn't crash because mp3 not found.

Well I've just played through and very nice indeed Jimi. Not quite as good as Eye of the Demon but very good fun indeed. I like how you've used a lot of Doomsday effects and tricks in this set - it looks great. The ambient sounds add a lot to the atmosphere.

Don't forget to enter it into /newstuff at Doomworld.

Also I like how you've packaged everything together it makes it very user friendly to install.

I really look forward to your next map as it seems your including more Doomsday tricks in each map you make. Bravo.

Thank you for the comments :D

It just missed previous /newstuff. Though it was there one day before they posted the reviews. I guess it'll be on the next one then :)

Damn, I was going to download it, but it's a ".rar" file. What program is needed to extract this type of file?

BTW, where can I get Eye of the Demon?

Hi JImi
LIke your level - but could only get it running after deleting Limbosky.ded.
I removed the jdep from jdoom /auto as suggeseted but when doomsday starts up I was getting a read error on Limbosky.ded and it crashed to the desktop.

That's more strange problem than Dani J666 had...

It's about as strange as I had to make that ded... The skymodel was not getting loaded if it was in limbo.ded and jDRP was used. Then I put the sky model stuff in that limbosky.ded and placed it in defs\jdoom\auto\ and suddenly the sky model gets loaded even if jDRP was used.

You could try loading the limbosky.ded manually, but I doubt it will work.

Looks like this addon is working differently on each one's computer... *bug*

It still runs though- and it's good to see mods that are packaged and run with jdrp and all the doomsday features.
Btw i have only tried it on the pre- fake radio version of doomsday - I'm waiting for the full stable 1.8 before moving everything accross ( my doomsday folder is getting up towards 2 gb now and i don't want to move it until i know it's new home will be ok)

This may actually be better than the first doom, mainly because it has a story.
