Custom Skins

How do I use my own custom skins for the models? I try to replace them with mine in the pk3 but it wont work.

Did you gave the skin the same name as the old one?

If not do that, then replace it.
Also is it the same extension?

yea i finaly got it to work, but i cant get it to work in a pk3. i just created a models folder in data/jdoom/ and put it in there with my replaced skin. for some reason my skins when saved in pcx turn out all fuzzy and multi colored but when saved in tga they are fine. thanks anyways wak how is the resurection going?
