Doom Connector Problem please help

I just downloaded Doom Connector and there is a problem, it wont CONNECT. I already checked that my internet is running, and it is. The message I get when I try to connect to Doom Connector is "Could not connect to server. Our excuses for the inconvenience, please try again later."
What do I do? Please help someone :(
