Plot Twist??

I just read the interview by Todd and he metioned a "Plot Twist" in the game I wonder that could be???

Here's a good idea...

1.What about if the entire game of Doom 3 was actually Doom Guy's near death expirence?? now thats a perfect twist for Doom 3 there

2.The "Demons" are actually aliens (like in the Novels)

I don't know guys but I'm just trying to come up with the best plot twist ideas

You'll find out that the REAL head demon is Simon off of American Idol, and while you have to fight off his hell spawn you have to endure his scathing report on your horrible singing ability (in surround sound no less). how about this: the plot might be that you don't actually go to hell but another planet or their homeworld, or you get to their home planet and there is an alternate dimension of the humans vs the demons?

or what if the UAC didnt open a portal to hell, they created it? what if the leaders of the company were some satanist fanatics who wanted to be the controllers of hell, so they created one?

or what if the place where they opened a portal to wasnt hell but the exact negative of our reality? what if our "Positive" reality was only balanced by that "negative" reality. in other words, you would end up facing the very evil and very strong you as the badass boss.

to sum it up, Doom 3 will blow all other games out of the water at least until the next Doom, heh...

anyways, they say the game is a retelling of the old doom. They also say you roam through the mars base and hell and that earth was at stake. Most doom fanatics remember that despite all your efforts in doom, Earth was still invaded at the end of the 4th episode in Ultimate Doom... well saying that, is doom 3 going to include doom 2's story of 'Hell on Earth'? or is that part of it going to be yet another long awaited doom game? maybe an expansion?

Lol MoP. That's a good one. And after that they create 2 more mega*insert DooM III file extension here* and claim they carry on the DooM III story line. One of these will take 5 years to complete and will turn out to be utter rubbish.:D

hahaha... yeah.... Final Doom was awesome though. The levels were more creative I think. At the very least it gave me something to play at work on mondays... do not underestimate the power of the fans... heheheh :D

As far as story is concerned, nothing anymore interesting really anyways...

Anyway, idea for plot twist...

At the end of the game, u kill the final boss or wateva. It then goes to a video clip which fades in and u see a normal guy in normal civilian cloths in a bed, he wakes up, sits up, shakes his head, and simply states

"Woah....."

Then goes off to work at a trucking company. LOL :D

A plot twist? To Doom??? Hmmm... This will be good. The only thing I can think of is a demon rebellion within the ranks of Hell. The purpose of hell is evil. Hell is released, therefore, the demons wreak havoc on all the life within the UAC station. But the thing I don't understand is why is the Doom guy going to hell? Is he going there to shut down the portal? Or for other reasons...
