Light casting floors are a must for this kind of mapping... At least for that green slime :).
Something about seeing little triangles representing dummy sectors is cool to me... Anyway, this may be a stupid question but... Is this a map?. A Megawad?. A TC?... I mean, some info about this would be cool to keep us informed :).

It's a megawad, surprised you haven't heard of it, there are lots of posts about it in the fourms, and i ramble about it on my webpage quite a bit.

You should definitely take screenshots in 32 bits mode, dynamic lighting and coronas would look much better (even it's way too slow on your computer) ;)

It runs slow as shit, Literally about 2 FPS. I'll take the screenshtos on a different computer next time so it'll look better.

I think in the 2nd screen you should make 2 sectors and place the midspace grate texture in between (think window but with lower and higher ceiling and floor).... so have the 'window' 8 units above the floor and 8 below the ceiling with the grate in the middle. That's what I do with all my grate-ish see through jobbies. Then again thats up to you. Otherwise keep up the good work. ;)

Screen 000 Needs some detail on that wall opposite the window. Screen 001 looks good to me. :) Screen 002 same thing I said before. You don't have to do that of course. Screen 003 Where is it? Screen 004 I like the nukage tube jobbies and the little 3d lights.

Can you show us a shot of the thing you do DD? I know what you mean to correct but I can't visualize it, so I bet others might not know either.
The only thing I can find wrong with the last one is the texture alignment, but that's an easy fix. It would look cool in that area if you made the lighting contrast a lot, eg. bright areas under the 3D lights and darker in other areas.

i know the textures on the right side need aligned. I like your idea alio of making it really bright underneath the lights. i may try that and see how it looks.

I make two long sectors, raise them slightly and also lower the ceiling and use the middle linedef for the bars. You don't have to raise / lower the ceil floor like a window but as long as the bars don't follow the same line as the wall I think it looks better.

BTW, what is that shot DD? It almost looks like it could be part of DooM Zephyr. :D

My screenshots look better than that. The flats aren't even aligned with the map in that picture. That is one ugly screenshot/map.

Its just a test wad I made and it's only 2 rooms.

i did what you said DD. I only raised the floor up 8 units, and lowered the ceiling 8 units. But your right it does look a little better.

I just love your maps, Frades. When you take a Rebel, Doom Builder w/o 3d mode, and a lot of creativity, you get one great, solid package ;). Your texuring is so...Wow. It's like there's a party in my sourceport, and every map's invited!

well i do only have 3 maps finished, but i have been skipping around, i just don't consider any of the other four maps i'm working on finished, or anywhere close.
